Dr. Asmahan Khater is a certified prosthodontist serving the community of Wayne, NJ with additional training to treat the most difficult and complex dental conditions. Dr. Khater has years of experience helping patients restore their smiles and enjoy an improved quality of life.
Dr. Khater attended New York University, where she earned her dental degree and completed her residency in prosthodontics. She was recognized by New York University College of Dentistry for her excellence in prosthodontics teaching in 2011 as a Clinical Assistant Professor and also received the Alumni Association Prosthetic Award for proficiency in removable prosthodontics in 2009.
Dr. Khater welcomes patients who speak English, Spanish, and Arabic. She sees patients for all restorative dental needs, including implant restorations, dentures, veneers, and full mouth rehabilitation. She works with her patients on an individual basis to address tooth loss and other complex problems, from the consultation through treatment and with follow-ups.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Khater enjoys baking sweets, including designing creative and delicious cakes and cookies. She combines art and precision in both dentistry and her hobbies. At home, she spends time with her husband and four kids.
